RELATIONSHIPS ARE COMPLICATED

No More to Say

We are what we are
And we do what we do
‘Cause we all try our best
And that’s all we can do

And I coulda done it this way
And I should have done it that way
But what’s done cannot be undone
And there’s nothing I can say
To take your pain away now
Because you think I’m wrong
But I never wanted to hurt you
I had to tell you the truth my heart knew all along
But I suppressed in hope of us

And the timing’s bad
And you don’t understand
But I said what I said and there’s no more to say
To someone who will not listen
